Broadway hit "Hamilton" drives interest in founding father
On Monday, the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton” won the Edward M. Kennedy Prize for Drama Inspired by American History. The cast wowed Grammy viewers and tickets are sold out through at least January next year. The show is based on Alexander Hamilton, our nation’s first treasury secretary. Chip Reid spoke with Ron Chernow, the author who helped the founding father find new life.
