Britain considers holding refugees and asylum-seekers aboard ferries after record one-month influx

In September alone, nearly 2,000 migrants entered the U.K. illegally by boat -- more than all of 2019. In response, authorities are cracking down on human smugglers, and reportedly considering housing asylum-seekers on disused ferries while their claims are being processed.
