Biden takes executive action to protect abortion access
President Biden signed an executive order Friday to help protect abortion access in states that are banning the procedure. The order directs the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to protect access to abortion medication, including emergency contraception, and to ensure emergency care for women experiencing pregnancy loss.
