2025 Spotify Wrapped, unwrapped

Does this portend anything for 2026, the artists and the songs that people are really into? So we see the continued country influence in the US, having Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan appear in the top artist list, and that wave will continue. I think about great new artists in the space like Ella Langley. K-pop managed to have an even bigger year. I didn't think that was possible, but of course, the phenomenon that is KPop DemonHuntersjust has really dominated the charts and everyone's listening this year. And it's a good year for breakout artists, artists like Olivia Dean and Alex Warren. There's also an alternative influence when we look at the US top songs with Sombr, "Back to Friends," and also Role Model. And looking forward, I think it feels like emotionally charged music, that's going to set to continue for 2026. And what music isn't emotionally charged? What are some of the new features for users and anyone on your list you want to share? We have a lot of new features. The one that everyone's talking about right now on day one is Listening Age. So this is--

(LAUGHING) Yeah. I already got a text from someone asking my listening age. I'd love to know your listening age. So mine's 20, and it's based on this premise that people are very much stuck the music of their youth. And so we look at the tracks that you're listening to in 2025, and those release dates, as well as your age. And we give you a listening age based on other people's listening as well, and where you fall in that. And the other one I love this year is also Top Albums. So we see, what are the albums that you fell in love with this year and was on repeat listen? And we've also introduced Top Audiobook Genre now that we have audiobooks on Spotify, and also you'll have a clip from your favorite author. So these are some of the-- and also Listening Clubs. So you're sorted into the type of music that you-- the vibe of what you're listening to. For example, Club Serotonin.
