9/2: Hurricane Hermine hits the Sunshine State; Lost gold medal sparks unlikely friendship

The unofficial end of summer was ushered in by Hurricane Hermine; two good friends -- 46-year-old Joe Jacobi and 6-year-old Chloe Smith -- got together for a paddle down the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta.
