3-year-old migrant boy barely recognized his dad when they were reunited after months apart

A Congressional hearing painted a bleak picture for children separated from families at the border, saying they can suffer extreme trauma. In our Eye On America "Separated and Counting" series, we are taking a look at families broken apart at the border that have now been reunited. In this installment, Manuel Bojorquez brings us the story of a father and his 3-year-old son. The father told us they were only separated because Border Patrol agents believed they weren't related, something it took nearly six months to figure out.
