November election results might take days, and misinformation is a growing concern

A report out by UCI Law urges the media to prepare the American people for the likelihood of a delayed presidential election result in November due to high numbers of people voting by mail. One of the recommended steps amounts to a balancing act for news organizations: debunking misinformation without amplifying it.
