Winds Cause Damage in Arlington

A storm did some damage today in Arlington.
Winds knocked down a ticket booth at six flags and fallen trees smashed a couple of cars.  The police department's Tiara Ellis Richard says a building on Division street lost some roofing due to the high winds.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Jessica Shultz says it was a microburst.  A microburst is a isolated strong burst of wind usually 55-60 mph that comes out of a collapsing thunderstorm.  Shultz says the storm around the ballpark was collapsing when this happened around 4:30pm.
