Wet Start To The Work Week
After a cloudy but (mostly) dry weekend we've got rain moving in quickly tonight. A few pop-up showers this evening but coming in from the southwest will be a line of storms overnight. They should arrive in the Metroplex by morning:
In the afternoon a cold front comes in from the north. This could produce strong storms in our northwest counties, more likely just some heavy rain. This could make for a wet evening commute in the metro area:
The cold front means highs only in the upper 60's on Tuesday. A low pressure system comes up from the southwest and rides along the frontal boundary on Tuesday; this means even more rain in the forecast for us:
We'll get a break from the rain on Wednesday but could have strong storms form on Thursday as yet another system moves over us:
