Flooding Threat
We are under a FLASH FLOOD WATCH thru 6:00pm for our eastern counties
Flooding waters continue to impact Johnson county and a flood warning will continue until 2:15pm
The rain will move off to east my late morning, we expect only scattered storms for the afternoon as temperatures warm into the low 80's.
The bad news is that we expect the rain to re-form going into the overnight hours heading into Monday morning. More heavy rain is possible:
This is an El Nino Spring- we were expecting the return of rain after four years of drought. This weather pattern shows no sign of letting up all the way until Memorial Day. One glance of the extended forecast shows more rain and storms expected:
