Friday & Weekend Forecast

We'll awake this morning with lots of cloud cover. There is some light rain over Navarro county but that's it for rain. It'll be a dry commute for DFW with temperatures in the upper 60's.

The sun will break out some and help develop mid-level clouds, because of the recent rainfall there is plenty of moisture around. There'll be a few storms in the afternoon heating, most of the activity will be in the southeast corner where we find some showers this morning.

The upper level low that gave us all this rain and cooler weather of late is now down to our south. It will only have slight influence over our weather today and tomorrow. Below you can see the rain chances for today and tomorrow (Sunday will be dry). Only the southeast corner and eastern counties look to be effected by the weather in the gulf:

Highs today in the upper 80's, tomorrow in the low 90's and in the mid-90's on Sunday. We are right back to hot and dry weather for Sunday and Monday.

We'll have highs in the upper 90's on Monday; we could have a Heat Advisory by Monday because of high humidity teamed with this heat.

Rain is back in the forecast, a cold front arrives on Tuesday and stalls over us on Wednesday. This puts a 20% to 30% rain chance for our area. There could be some severe weather on Tuesday afternoon.
