Storms and Rain for the Work Week
One more dry day before our first prolonged Spring rain of 2016 arrives. More in clouds and stronger winds than yesterday but still a nice day to be outside working on your yard:
A week of rain chances ahead of us. The weather brings a threat of severe weather and even flash flooding:
Tomorrow afternoon we'll see the risk of severe weather start to the west of the Metro area along the dry line. Those storms will move east into the DFW area by evening. Large hail and brief heavy rain will be the main threat:
On Tuesday the rain and storm threat will be more widespread. If we get heavy rain in the morning on Tuesday that will diminish the tornado threat:
Heavy rain ahead, enough to close the gap of missing rainfall we've had since the year started. DFW is currently about 2" short of normal but 3"-4" could fall by the time we get to Friday:
