Rainy Weather Throughout Monday
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Limestone, Freestone and Anderson Counties in our area starting just after midnight and all day Monday:
Rain chances really start to pick up tonight and don't back down until we get to early Tuesday morning:
For the Flash Flood Watch area there could be as much as 2"-4" of rain fall. The threat of road and river flooding will start to peak mid-day tomorrow:
FutureSky Forecast shows the rain starting to set-in during the morning commute tomorrow. Don't forget the skies stay dark later since we are now in Daylight Saving Time. Sunrise is at 7:48am:
This will be a cold rain. Temperatures are going to stay in low 50's all afternoon. The rain picks up in coverage and intensity by afternoon. Count on a wet evening commute, at least for most it'll be in daylight. The sun does not go below horizon tomorrow until 7:31pm

The cold air that has plagued the eastern third of the United States for the last two months has retreated back into Canada. Mild weather stretches across most of the lower 48 for the week ahead. The big rain here will shift into the deep south by mid-week:
This opens the door for some fine weather heading into the end of the week. The sun will even come back out!
