UPDATE:  The missing cobra has been found and is back in a cage.

KRLD's Kelli Wiese was speaking with Nick Harmon, a game warden with Texas Parks & Wildlife, when the snake was captured.

NEEDVILLE, TX(CBSDFW.COM) -- Here is something you don't see 'tweeted' every day. "We can confirm we are looking for a loose 8-10' King Cobra with @TexasGameWarden off Cloudt Rd. in Needville."

That tweet along with an image of a King Cobra was sent today by the Fort Bend County Sheriff.

According to the county's twitter feed the image they tweeted was of a second snake at the same location from where the first snake escaped.

Officials posting on the county's Facebook page also said, "Needville ISD is aware and that nearby neighbors have been advised."

The county later posted an image of Fort Bend County Sheriff Nehls standing on a car as other officers searched what looked like a barn or exterior shelter. "We might get fired, but we just have to share this pic of Sheriff Nehls looking for the snake in Needvile from an "elevated" position!"

Still no word on whether the snake has been found.
