Clouds Stay, Winds Go
We've had clouds, some drizzle and a cold north wind try to take the happy out of the St. Patrick's Day fun this afternoon. The wind will diminish tonight as temperatures fall into the upper 50's:
It will be difficult to shake the clouds tomorrow; we are expecting less wind and perhaps a tad bit more sun. Highs will be in the mid-to-upper 60's:
We've a nice start to the year in regards to total precipitation, especially when you consider last year:
In 2014 more than half of the rain at DFW Airport that fell from Jan. 1st to March 14th actually fell on the 14th itself when 1.29" of rain was measured. It was one of the driest start to a year on record. Not only are we above normal so far this year, we have another potential good rain coming in on late Tuesday/early Wednesday:
Another rain chance shows up on Friday into early Saturday (as it looks right now at least). With the average last freeze of the season behind us now (March 13th) perhaps its time to get those garden beds in! Here is your extended:
No early show today because of Basketball but Ken Molestina, Sports Guy Rawlings and I will be on at 10p (maybe slightly later because of....you guessed it...basketball) with the latest in News, Weather and Sports. See you then!
