Bedford Bomb-Making Suspect Captured

Police credit a tipster for leading them to a bomb-making operation inside a Bedford home.  They got their search warrant Tuesday and went to Chad Russell's home near Pipeline and Brown Trail.  Inside they found bomb components and at least one item they describe as a "...crude but completed explosive device."  Just last week, officers were called out to that neighborhood after reports of a possible gunshot.  They couldn't narrow it down at the time but now detectives believe the sound was a bomb that Russell had detonated. He's now up on multiple charges.  Police say bombs made from the materials in Russell's home could easily have killed several people.
