911 Call System Back Up After Damaged Fiber Optic Line Caused Outage In Northern Tarrant County

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - The emergency 911 call system is back up after a damaged fiber optic line caused the system to shut down in parts of northern Tarrant County on Feb. 1.

East of Eagle Mountain Lake was affected as were parts of Fort Worth, Saginaw, Newark and unincorporated Tarrant County.

Those areas are highlighted in yellow on the map below.
