Not much to worry about today. A cloudy and windy Sunday with highs in the low 80's. Wind gusts will get over 30 mph at times.

Late in the day we expect severe weather to break out in the moist air ahead of a dryline. The storms will start over Oklahoma and in the Childress and Wichita Falls area of Texas. Large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible:

We'll watch these powerful storms approach our northwestern counties tonight, there is a chance they could move over these areas in the late evening:

On Monday the dryline sets up right over the Metroplex as a cold front approaches. The severe weather threat will be from noon until the end of day. The worst of the weather is expected to be east of our area but our eastern counties run the risk as well:

The risk over the Metro area is lower but certainly not zero. We'll be monitoring the threat from the CBS11 Weather Center and break into programming if needed. Please follow us on Twitter and Facebook as well.

One the cold front comes through the severe weather threat is over. We'll be in the upper 80's tomorrow but only around 70° on Tuesday. A cold rain is possible on Wednesday:
