Shachar Bar-On, a veteran producer for 60 Minutes, has collaborated with correspondent Lesley Stahl since 2007 on more than 80 in-depth breaking news reports, investigations, and interviews with high-profile world leaders and CEOs. A multiple Emmy Award winner, he has produced some of the newsmagazine's most notable profiles, business stories, and overseas coverage. His reports often dig into the technology and energy sectors, as well as the Middle East, China, and Russia.
Prior to CBS, he spent a decade at Dateline NBC. He graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1995 and resides in New York City.
