Paradise Afshar is an assignment desk editor for CBS News Atlanta. She has covered everything from health to city government to immigration for outlets such as CNN, Fox News and the Miami Herald.
She holds a master's degree in Near Eastern and North African Studies from King's College London and is currently pursuing a second postgraduate degree in Global Culture and Diversity.
When she's not working, Paradise is usually trying new recipes or going swimming.
