Floyd repeatedly said he couldn't breathe and said the officers were going to kill him during his fatal arrest.
"We simply do not believe we can create and maintain an environment for intercollegiate athletic competition that meets our requirements for safety and acceptable levels of risk," the Ivy League Council of Presidents said.
Since Florida began reopening, the Miami-Dade County's daily rate for confirmed COVID-19 cases skyrocketed from about 300 a day to more than 2,000.
Price is the seventh player to opt out of the 2020 season thus far.
The 60-game season, originally scheduled to begin March 26, will now start at the end of July.
"We stand up for what's right, and we stand with all who are committed to the fight against hate speech, racism and prejudice," Beam Suntory said in a statement.
"These charges should serve as a warning to those who choose to desecrate the statues and monuments that adorn our nation's capital," acting U.S. Attorney Michael R. Sherwin said in a statement.
"The San Jose Police Department will be seeking assistance from the FBI regarding this matter," the SJPD said in a statement.
Three police officers previously resigned over the incident.
