1. Patricia Park, the daughter of Korean immigrant parents who ran a grocery store in Queens, New York, offers a retelling of the Charlotte Bronte classic Jane Eyre in her new novel Re Jane. 2. Kevin Fisher-Paulson, the Captain of the Honor Guard for the San Francisco Sheriff's Department, talks about being a gay married man with children in the Bay Area. 3. SF DocFest, the 14th San Francisco Documentary Film Festival, is June 4th-18th at the Roxie, Brava & Vogue Theaters featuring dozens of films, panel discussion, and special events. The festival opens with Colin Hanks' movie All Things Must Pass about Tower records, the Centerpiece film is Finders keepers, and the closing night film is (T)error.
