Two Minor Quakes Rattle Alum Rock Area
ALUM ROCK (CBS SF) -- Santa Clara County got a couple little jolts Monday night with two mild earthquakes centered near Alum Rock.
At around 10:18 p.m., there was a 2.6 quake in East San Jose, near Mount Hamilton on the Calaveras fault line.
That quake followed an earlier temblor of the same magnitude at around 7:48 p.m.
There were no reports of any damage.
