Shooting in San Francisco Mission Bay injures 2

San Francisco police said two people were injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Mission Bay.

The shooting happened around 9:10 p.m. on the 600 block of Mission Bay.

Police said the shooter had been involved in a verbal altercation prior to the shooting. There were two people injured and both were taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

According to police, the shooter left the area before officers arrived.
