SF Jeweler Robbed in Texas
(AP)- Police in Richardson, Texas are looking for a group of thieves who robbed a San Francisco wholesale jeweler of about $850,000 worth of precious gems as he arrived at a Dallas-area store.
Authorities say the victim, whose name has not been released, was jumped by three men in an alley behind the store late Wednesday afternoon. They say the bandits made off with the jeweler's briefcase in a vehicle driven by a fourth suspect.
Police say the suspects all wore hooded sweatshirts, and at least one of them had a knife.
The attack was captured on security video. The victim was not hurt.
