Woman killed in San Jose shooting

San Jose police said a woman was shot and killed early Sunday morning.

Officers were called around 1:20 a.m. and alerted to a shooting near Bonita Avenue and Sunny Court.

Police said officers at the scene found a woman injured, who had been shot at least once. She was taken to a hospital but later pronounced dead.

According to police, a person of interest was arrested near the scene.
