San Jose fire crews battle fire near Los Lagos Golf Course
San Jose fire crews battled a vegetation fire near the Los Lagos Golf Course on Tuesday, the fire department said.
The fire was near the 3100 block of Locke Drive and began burning around 3:15 p.m. About 30 minutes later, it was upgraded to a tier 2 fire, and crews were assigned to structure protection, San Jose Fire said.
There were about 45 firefighters at the scene, and they were able to stop forward progress around 4:30 p.m., San Jose Fire said.
