Child Endangerment Arrest in Pit Bull Attack
A Concord man was arrested Thursday after his 2-year-old step-grandson was mauled to death by his pit bulls.
They boy has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Jacob Bisbee.

52-year-old Steven Hiyashi has been charged with felony child endangerment and possession of a mischievous animal resulting in death or injury.
Hiyashi is the owner of three pit bulls that authorities say mauled the child to death Thursday morning.
Bisbee and his four-year-old brother were staying at the home when authorities say the toddler wandered into the garage where the dogs were kept, and was attacked.
Bisbee was taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The three dogs, and two others that were in the yard at the Trailcreek Court home were removed by authorities and have been euthanized.
Contra Costa county officials say there is no record of complaints about the dogs.
