Owner Of Private Commuter Shuttle To Be Charged After Bus Blocks J Church Muni Line
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – The owner of a private commuter shuttle bus that blocked San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency service on Tuesday morning, will be charged for the disruption.
The Royal Coach commuter shuttle was traveling up 21st Street in Noe Valley when it came to a stop right on top of the J Church line tracks and had to be towed away.

San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency spokesperson Paul Rose said that was bad news for riders and Muni.
"The J Church was unable to get through at 21st and Chattanooga. So what we had to do was provide shuttle service from that location to get folks through that area, and then to the downtown area," Rose said.
Now, Muni is looking to recoup the money they spent to restore service.
"We do look to charge restitution, the cost of any additional service to get our passengers and customers around that area," said Rose. It's unsure exactly how much the company will be charged.
A spokesman for Royal Coach said he could not comment and doesn't know whose bus it was, but did confirm that the company does shuttle tech workers in that neighborhood.
