OAKLAND (CBS 5) - As many as three people were being held as hostages at an Office Depot store in Emeryville Friday night, according to police.

A robbery call came in to police at 9:30 p.m. Officers arrived at the store on Hollis St. and were told that an armed man was likely still inside the store with employees.

Oakland officers and Emeryville police were on the scene as of 11:30 p.m. Friday trying to contact the suspect.

The nearby Home Depot hardware store has been evacuated and most of the employees of the Office Depot are out of the building, Frye said.

There were no initial reports of injuries.
