Narsai David Restaurant Review: Plum
(KCBS) - KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David reviews a new restaurant in Oakland owned by Daniel Patterson who also runs Coi in San Francisco.
Some dishes worth mentioning: the mushroom udon soup was very delicate; the pork sandwich is beautifully served with avocado, pickled onions and sweet potato chips; and the beef cheek and oxtail burger was the most unusual burger. And save room for dessert: milk chocolate mousse layered with orange marmalade and a buttermilk panna cotta.
