Manhunt For Gunman In Richmond Triangle Shooting

RICHMOND (CBS/BCN) -- Police are searching for a gunman who injured a man in a shooting in Richmond Thursday evening, a police sergeant said.

A call came in at about 5:40 p.m. reporting gunshots in the 900 block of Triangle Court, Sgt. Louie Tirona said.

Officers located one victim, a 50-year-old male, who sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a nearby hospital. The victim is expected to survive, Tirona said.

Although officers searched the area for the suspect, they were unable to locate the man, Tirona said, and no suspect description was available as of 6:30 a.m. Friday.
