Man Shot While Driving In San Francisco's Bayview
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A man was shot while driving his car in San Francisco's Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.
The shooting was reported shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Evans Avenue and Mendell Street, according to police.
The 25-year-old victim was driving his vehicle when a suspect opened fire from a white Acura, police said.
The victim was hit three times by the gunfire. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and a detailed suspect description was not immediately available this morning, police said.
