Man Faces Hate Crime Charges After Allegedly Attacking Latino In Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY (KPIX 5) -- A man is facing hate crime charges after he allegedly yelled racial insults at one Latino and punched another Latino in Redwood City.
Police said 34-year-old Michael Goggins was arrested last week.
Officers say he punched a Latino man who was walking down the street in Redwood City and yelled a derogatory comment.
He's also accused of yelling racial insults at a Latino worker at a gas station.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was being held on $50,000 bail Tuesday night.
