Man Accused Of Child Molestation At San Jose Day Care Center

SAN JOSE (BCN) - A 60-year-old San Jose man has been arrested on suspicion of molesting a child at a San Jose day care center, police said.

On Dec. 22, investigators received a report that Primitivo Campos had committed lewd acts on a female child at Campos Day Care, located in the 600 block of Chatsworth Place, police said.

The day care center is licensed and has been providing child care for more than 10 years, police said.

Police said Campos lived and worked there.

Campos was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail on Dec. 23 and is being held without bail, police said.

Investigators believe there could be more victims and are asking anyone with information about the case to call the department's Child Exploitation Detail at (408) 277-4102.
