Ellis, Warriors React To NBA All-Star Snubbing
OAKLAND (CBS / AP) -- Monta Ellis wasn't picked for the NBA's All-Star game. If he was disappointed, it didn't show.
He went out and had another terrific outing.
Ellis, the league's sixth-leading scorer, scored 24 points to lead Golden State over the Milwaukee Bucks 100-94 on Thursday night.
"It's all right," Ellis said of the snub. "We still have a chance to make the playoffs so we're going to focus on that. It's just a situation you can't control. I had to get back to reality and focus on playing basketball."
Warriors coach Keith Smart said of Ellis' snubbing: "The guy has done everything he needs to and has played as hard as he can and did everything the right way. It's a little disappointing."
