Disney•Pixar Releases Clip of 'Sanjay's Super Team'

EMERYVILLE (CBS SF) – Disney•Pixar has released a preview clip to their latest animated short Sanjay's Super Team. The seven-minute film will show prior to "The Good Dinosaur" when the film is released in theaters on November 25th.

Sanjay's Super Team tells the story about the relationship of a deeply religious Hindu father and his young, western idealistic son who often daydreams of three Hindu Gods as superheroes. Half-monkey, half-god, Hanuman - Durga, the goddess of power and protection and the blue-skinned Vishnu, representing preservation.

The film is loosely based on director Sanjay Patel's own life, growing up in the 1980's. Sanjay's Super Team marks Patel's first time as director. His previous credits as an animator include Pixar movies A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
