OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A man fatally shot in Oakland on Christmas Eve has been identified as Hector Serrano, a police spokeswoman said Tuesday.

Serrano was killed in a shooting reported at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 8600 block of D Street, police spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson said.

He was fired on by three suspects while he stood on the sidewalk. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

No arrests had been made in connection with the shooting as of Tuesday, Watson said.
