SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) -- As President Barack Obama visited the Bay Area Wednesday to tout his deficit reduction plan and raise some campaign cash, a new KPIX-TV CBS 5 poll finds growing disatisfaction among Californians about Mr. Obama's job performance.

The poll, conducted for CBS 5 by SurveyUSA, found half of Californians (50%) currently disapprove of the job the president is doing.

Mr. Obama drew positive marks from 46% in California, according to the poll results, while four percent were unsure.

The survey of 600 adults across the state took place from Apr. 16-18 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1%.
