Car Crashes Into Hayward Home, Severing Gas Line
HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- A car crashed into a home, severing a gas line in Hayward Thursday afternoon.
Hayward firefighters responded to a home on the 22000 block of Nevada Road after the crash occurred at 3:45 p.m.
No one was home at the time of the crash, but the car hit a gas line, and a strong odor of natural gas was present in the area.
PG&E crews were also responding to the home.
