Bumgarner Does Well In 1st Spring Start; A's Beat Giants 6-0

PHOENIX, Ariz. (CBS/AP) -- Brett Anderson struck out five in three innings and the Oakland Athletics beat the San Francisco Giants 6-0 Saturday.

Madison Bumgarner, making his first spring start after two relief appearances, went three innings for the Giants. He allowed an unearned run on two hits, walked one and struck out one.

Anderson came back from a shaky relief appearance in his first outing and gave up one hit.

Coco Crisp hit a two-run single and Mark Ellis had an RBI single.
