You know what's better than low-priced yoga? Donation-based price yoga! But don't worry, the folks at the front desk don't judge. No matter what you pay, you will still get a top-notch yoga class with friendly instructors. Urban Flow is not bikram yoga, but the classes are warm, so be prepared to sweat. Also, there is a minimum payment of $15 if you use a credit card; however, if you walk in with cash, you're all good.

Flying Yoga

This cool yoga studio on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland offers a deal for new customers that is so affordable, you'll strike a (warrior) pose: three classes for $20. Regular prices are not too shabby, either: drop-ins are $14, and you can save even more with the class packs. Flying Yoga offers a wide variety of classes, so there is something to please just about all yogis, including vinyasa, mat pilates, flyingacro yoga (which involves acrobatic work - seriously) and zumba (a Latin dance-based yoga class). Best of all, you can take a class taught by uber-popular Laura Camp (formerly of Monkey Yoga in Oakland). Her Camp Yoga classes offer a lot of laughs and a lot of sweat, and after a few minutes you will see why her classes pack 'em in.

Yoga to the People, which has studios in multiple cities across the country including San Francisco and Berkeley, thinks yoga should be available to everyone. Honestly, the world probably would be a better place if everyone did yoga. The classes are donation based, and the suggested donation is $10, but if you can't swing it, then give what you can. (And yeah, if you can donate more, that would be awesome.) Not only is Yoga to the People affordable, they offer classes that run 60 minutes, instead of 90 minutes, the yoga standard. It's perfect for yogis with limited time as well as finances.

Yoga Tree
Various locations in San Francisco
Yoga TreeWith studios in Hayes Valley, Castro, Mission and Haight, all San Francisco yogis know about Yoga Tree. They also know that the regular classes are on the upper end of the price range. At a whopping $18 a class, the classes tend to break the bank while you break a sweat! But, many yogis don't know about Yoga Tree's community classes, which are only $12. There are a myriad of community classes at all the Yoga Tree studios, including anusara, arm balances, hatha flow and vinyasa. Not sure if Yoga Tree is for you? Well, new customers can get the great deal of three classes for $20.

While most classes are $16 at Yoga Kula, some classes are only $11, and community classes are even cheaper – on a sliding scale of $10 to $16. The community classes include a pre-natal yoga class on Mondays and Wednesdays in Berkeley, so frugal pregnant ladies can get their downward-facing dog on, too. The studio also has a new customer deal of three classes for $20. The open, bright studios are very inviting, and not only are the teachers friendly, but your fellow yogis are as well. They are probably in a good mood because they got such a good deal on their yoga class.

Being Yoga 2

Not all the best yoga deals are in San Francisco and the East Bay, Burlingame's Being Yoga offers new customers 30 days of yoga for $30. It also offers a work trade, meaning you can work the front desk in exchange for free yoga. Plus, Being Yoga has something that a lot of other San Francisco and East Bay studios don't have: Plenty of free parking. You read that right: Free parking! A majority of Being Yoga's classes are bikram; however, it also offers beginning yoga, meditation classes, yoga for kids and silent yoga (which is a bikram class, but – shhh – no talking).

And you can always check out CBS San Francisco's Local Fitness Deals, which often include yoga sessions and packages.
