Bay Area Quadruplets Set To Make Their Way Home
REDWOOD CITY (KCBS) – Naturally conceived quadruplet girls are finally prepared to go home after more than two months in the hospital.
Baby Emma and her three sisters, Audrey, Natalie and Isabelle, are getting healthier by the day.
KCBS' Margie Shafer Reports:
Doctor Jane Chueh said the odds of having naturally conceived quadruplets with two identical twins is a million to one.
"I've never seen four with two identicals. A few years ago, we had four, but they were all separate placentas," Chueh said.
New father Wayne Wang of Redwood City admits he and his wife, Samantha, were scared of entering the unknown.
The couple opted not to selectively reduce, saying it would be too difficult to choose.
"They are all precious and they are all ours," Wang said.
Wang said he still needs to buy a car that can hold four car seats.
The girls, who were born in October, could be home by the end of the month.
