SAN FRANCISCO (ALICE@97.3/CBSSF) - Alice's Summerthing has just the 'thing' for everyone … with unique areas that celebrate all those things we just love about summer. Mainly…Music! Starting at 12Noon on Sunday, June 26th, enjoy music from Andrew Allen, Parachute, Matt Nathanson, Michelle Branch and headlining this year's event, OneRepublic. So shrug off the last couple of months and have a completely irresponsible day of play. You're welcome to bring your own picnic basket, but, if you're like the rest of us and don't want to cook, you can purchase lunch and beverages from one of the many gourmet booths on site.
In addition, here are some other "things" to do at Alice's Summerthing:
VIPThing At SummerThing
Alice is hosting an awesome thing! A private area right next to the Summerthing stage… just for you! Unless you're 'with the band', it doesn't get any better than this! The VIPTHING AT SUMMERTHING area includes lunch, lounging under umbrella tables, AND a special meet and greet with one of Alice's Summerthing bands. Listen for details on how you can win VIPTHING AT SUMMERTHING passes. Coming soon!
SmileThing
It's always fun to have your picture taken, especially when it's a candid and on a spontaneous feel good day. We know that Summerthing will give you something to 'smile' about… cause it's free. So drop by the Smilething area and ham it up in front of the camera.
DoggieThing
We agree. Dogs Rule! Don't leave your best friend behind. Bring your Dog to Summerthing and take a stroll down 'Water Bowl Lane' for fresh water, doggie treats and more.
ArtThing
We know Generation Alice is creative! Paint, glitter, color in your very own Summerthing poster. Take it home to Mom… or frame it and show off your artistic side!
OtherThings
Summerthing always brings surprises… and lots of booths to check out. The Alice booth is a good place to start. Enter to win our his and her 'Cruiser Bikes' (just in time for summer) and spin the Summerthing spinning wheel to score 'other' cool stuff. Plus, check out the Monterey Bay Aquarium and their very cool Interactive Mobile Experience. Lot of goodies to be had there too. You won't have to wander to far to get free samples of food and beverages either… from yummy Popchips to refreshing Metromint water. These are just a few of the 'things' going on!
