2 Of The Bay Area's Biggest Mansions Are For Sale
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) In the market for a mega-mansion?
You're in luck.
Two of the biggest homes in the Bay Area are for sale right now.
The only catch is you have a mega-sized bank account to buy one.
You can snatch up a vineyard estate in Alamo, complete with a custom pool with a spa waterfall, limestone fireplaces and crystal chandeliers for about $42 million dollars.
According to the folks at the San Francisco Business Times this pricey pad on Serenity Lane is 26,739 square feet.
Too big?
Well, you can downsize to a 20,516 square feet mansion in the heart of The City. The listing says it "was built in 1904 as a replica of the Petit Trianon in Versailles."
BizJournal says the home located at 3800-3810 Washington (so big it has two addresses??) is the third-largest property in San Francisco.
It's smaller than the Alamo estate, and so is its pricetag (for once in San Francisco!)... only $17,995,000.
Happy mansion-hunting!
