18-Year-Old Shot, Killed In San Francisco's Bernal Heights
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) -- An 18-year-old man was fatally shot near San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood Thursday night, a police spokesman said.
The teen was killed around 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Alemany Boulevard, just north of Interstate Highway 280, police Officer Albie Esparza said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting victim and found the teen inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound, Esparza said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Esparza said no arrests were made, and a suspect description was
not available Thursday night. It was not yet clear whether the shooting was gang related, he said.
Officers Thursday night were trying to locate additional information and find potential witnesses.
