$100 Parking Spots Advertised Ahead Of Giants-Cardinals Playoff Game
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - What's your alternative to a $2.25 ride on San Francisco Muni to AT&T Park for the Giants-Cardinals National League Championship Series Game Tuesday? Apparently you can secure a parking spot for a few hours for just $100.
Professionals showed up to the South Beach area for work Tuesday morning only to be hit by sticker shock from the overnight jump in private lot parking prices due to the Game three of the NLCS, with at least two places on Townsend trying to get $100 per-stall.
But there are bargains to be had...
As a comparison, resale tickets to the actual game were available on StubHub Tuesday morning for $45 each. None of the advertised spots get you quite as close to the park as the N-Judah or T-Third light rail lines. But at least some of them offer covered parking.
