2 Killed In San Leandro Mobile Home Fire

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- A second person has been found deceased at the scene of a one-alarm fire in a mobile home in San Leandro Wednesday morning, according to Alameda County fire officials.

Shortly before 5 a.m. fire officials reported that one person had been found dead at the scene of a mobile home fire in San Leandro, according to fire officials.

About 7 a.m., fire officials announced that a second body was found at the scene of the fire.

Crews responded to the one-alarm fire about 3:35 a.m. at the Estudillo Trailer Park, located at 1468 Grand Avenue, fire officials said.

The fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes and the mobile home was deemed a complete loss, according to fire officials.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.

The identity of the two deceased persons and their cause of death had not been released pending notification of next of kin.
