United Way, Sac State and UC Davis give back to foster kids on Big Day of Giving
The United Way, Sacramento State and UC Davis teamed up on this Big Day of Giving, giving away the first $500 monthly checks to 20 former foster kids studying at the two universities. It's part of the Guardian Scholars program.
