Man found dead of gunshot wound under South Sacramento bridge
Authorities are searching for a suspect or suspects after a man, who was homeless, was found dead under a bridge in South Sacramento on Sunday. A sheriff's office spokesperson said a man's body was discovered the body by Elder Creek near the 8200 block of Gerber Road in South Sacramento at around 4 p.m. Sunday. He said investigators initially believed it was a gunshot wound but recovered no weapon.
